We’re part of the Unilin Group
For over 30 years, Xtratherm was a market leader in the construction industry across the UK and Ireland, a name synonymous with the provision of quality insulation solutions for walls, floors and roofs.
We became part of the Unilin Group in 2016 and adopted the Unilin name late in 2022. The evolution to Unilin Insulation signifies a unified brand, delivering more to customers in the UK and Ireland as part of a major European player in the construction industry.

Unilin Insulation is the second largest manufacturer of PIR boards in Europe and a market leader within the insulation industry.

Foundation of Unilin Benelux with uninsulated open roof elements. Headquarters in Desselgem (BE)

Start-up of the spraying of PU insulation for open roof elements

Hytherm was founded

Acquisition Multipré, producer of prefab roofs (NL)

Acquisition Isoroy, producer of roof elements (FR)
